The DT-350-SCS Servo Cup Slide pad printing machine has been specifically designed to address the needs of the medical device industry to pad print graduations & depth marks onto catheter tubing. This pad printing machine is also well suited for other long items such as pipettes, rulers, yard sticks, electrical cable assemblies and more. The sealed ink cup travels sideways (transverse axis with servo motor) and during loading and unloading of the catheter tubing, the ink cup keeps cycling to keep the etched image wet and ready to print on the next cycle. Load a part and then activate the footswitch and the pad printing machine will cycle and print again. The DT-350-SCS is equipped with three servo motors: 1) horizontal pad carriage, 2) vertical pad stroke, and 3) transverse cup slide motion. Ink cup stroke length is fully programmable (200 to 1000mm) and job parameters can be saved in the PLC via the touch screen interface. This unit is equipped with an oversized X/Y/R/Z worktable with T slots for mounting the vacuum nesting fixture used to hold down the catheter tubing or part securely. The DT-350-SCS is also equipped with a heavy-duty floor stand with floor levelers and casters. The DT-350-SCS complies with both OSHA & CE safety standards and is equipped with interlocking doors and light curtains in the loading area.
