Polyurethane Squeegees
Pleiger Plastics brand of polyurethane squeegee blades for your precise and demanding screen printing applications...
Deco Tech distributes only the highest quality consumable products in the screen printing marketplace and we proudly distribute the Pleiger Plastics brand of polyurethane squeegee blades for your precise and demanding screen printing applications. The Plei-Tech® (pronounced ply-tech) compounds are custom formulated to achieve high solvent resistance and excellent abrasion resistance and they provide superior on-press performance. The Plei-Tech® squeegees will better maintain its proper durometer (hardness) when subjected to aggressive inks and solvents and they show minimal swelling during the print run. Because of Pleiger's polyurethane technology their squeegees retain a sharp edge longer than the competition and your productivity is enhanced.
With Pleiger brand squeegees you can run all ink types including; UV, two part epoxy, Enamel, Vinyl, water based and other solvent based ink systems that are extremely aggressive to squeegee blades. If you've been buying inferior quality squeegees you'll have discovered that your squeegee blades tend to; decrease in durometer, swell greatly due to solvent invasion and they become dull at an accelerated rate due to their inability to resist the harsh solvents and abrasion against the stencil… Not so with Pleiger's Plei-Tech® squeegees because of their superior chemical resistance and exceptional abrasion resistance when exposed to aggressive ink systems.
Deco Tech provides the full range of Pleiger polyurethane screen printing squeegees including their Plei-Tech® 22 and Plei-Tech® 15 (Vulkollan®) squeegee in a range of durometers and blade profiles.
The Plei-Tech® 22 formulation is very good for most industrial and graphic screen printing applications and the squeegee blades are color-coded for easy reference of their hardness. Durometer color key is below.

Plei-Tech® 22 squeegee formulation exhibits very good solvent resistance and excellent abrasion resistance and these squeegees are our best selling and most popular version.
The Plei-Tech® 15 (Vulkollan®) is manufactured for those aggressive screen printing applications that demand the superior performance of this premium product. Plei-Tech® 15 (Vulkollan®) is Amber in color and this PU formulation will eventually darken with age and exposure to UV and fluorescent light sources. Plei-Tech® 15 formula squeegees are available in the following durometers: 60, 70, 75, 80, 85 and 90 (A shore).
Plei-Tech® 15 exhibits excellent solvent and abrasion resistance. For assistance in selecting the right squeegee for your application please contact one of our customer service representatives. We also provide the RKS brand of specialty squeegees.
Squeegee Profiles
SE-S
Straight Edge - Single Durometer
The most common squeegee used in graphic and textile printing applications. Exceptionally wear and solvent resistant for long-life use. Also available in precision edge for the highest print quality.
Available in Shore A Hardness: 60, 70. 80 & 90. Plei-Tech® 15 & 22.
DSBO-S
Double Single Bevel Parallel-Single Durometer
Offers the advantage of two printing edges for extended squeegee life. Opposite sides are used to lessen the effect of repeated printing motion and ink attack.
Available in Shore A Hardness: 70, 80 & 90. Plei-Tech® 15 & 22. 45, 60 and 90 degree angles.
DSBP-S
Double Single Bevel Parallel-Single Durometer
Offers the advantage of two printing edges for extended squeegee life. Opposite sides are used to lessen the effect of repeated printing motion and ink attack.
Available in Shore A Hardness: 70, 80 & 90. Plei-Tech® 15 & 22. 45, 60 and 90 degree angles.
Angle Chart
60° DOUBLE BEVEL
This squeegee blade has good dimensional stability and is a very stable player. This angle will be more resistant to inks and solvents due to the thickness of the printing tip (This is our standard angle).
Thickness available 0.10"-0.50"
Height available 0.75" - 5.00"
90° DOUBLE BEVEL
This squeegee blade exhibits the best dimensional stability and has good resistance to inks and solvents due to the heavier thickness of the printing tip.
Thickness available 0.10"-0.50"
Height available 0.75" - 5.00"
45° DOUBLE BEVEL
This squeegee blade has minimal dimensional stability due to the thin printing tip. It is best suited for printing with less aggressive inks and solvents with lower squeegee pressures.
Thickness available 0.10"-0.50"
Height available 0.75" - 5.00"
